一、旅游签证（L）

I. Tourist Visa (L)

  • 自 2024 年 1 月起，申请 L 旅游签证无需提供机票与旅馆。
  • Since Jan 2024, no flight or hotel bookings are required for L visas.
  • 特别提醒：旅游签证在华停留一般 60 天；个别情况最多 90 天（以签注为准）。
  • Note: Typical stay is 60 days; sometimes up to 90 days (per visa label).

二、探亲签证（Q1/Q2）及私人事务签证（S1/S2）

II. Family Visit (Q1/Q2) & Private Affairs (S1/S2)

  1. 中国境内个人邀请函（附邀请人居民身份证彩色照片，正反两面）。
    Invitation letter from your contact in China (color copies of inviter’s Chinese ID, both sides).
  2. 非中国籍邀请人：提供护照与在华居留许可复印件。
    If the inviter is non‑Chinese: copy of passport + CN residence permit.
  3. 华裔的非华裔配偶申请 Q2：需额外提供结婚证与华裔配偶的护照复印件；若配偶持中国护照，还需提供其美国绿卡或当前在美身份文件复印件。
    Non‑Chinese spouse of an ethnic Chinese applying Q2: include marriage certificate and the ethnic Chinese spouse’s passport; if spouse holds a CN passport, also include US green card or current US status proof.

Invitation Letter — Sample

邀请人姓名：张三，性别：男，出生日期：1990-01-01，中国身份证号：XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX（或外国护照号 / 中国永久居留证号），现居住地址：北京市朝阳区……，电话：138…，邮箱：name@example.com。

Inviter: Zhang San, Sex: M, DOB: 1990‑01‑01, CN ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (or foreign passport / CN PR card), Address: Chaoyang, Beijing…, Phone: +86 138…, Email: name@example.com.

本人邀请下述亲属赴华短期探亲（或长期居住），拟于 202X‑MM‑DD 入境，停留期 XX 天。

I invite the following relative(s) to China for a short visit (or long‑term stay), planned entry 202X‑MM‑DD, for XX days.

请附：邀请人身份证正反面彩色打印；非中国籍邀请人附护照与居留许可复印件。签字后可扫描，通过 email 发来，再彩色打印即可。

Attach: inviter’s CN ID (both sides, color). If non‑Chinese inviter: passport + CN residence permit. Scan after signing and email us; we will print in color.

三、商务签证（M）与访问签证（F）

III. Business (M) & Visit/Exchange (F)

  • 特别提醒：M 商务通常可签 10 年多次；F 访问目前多为 1 年多次（以实际签注为准）。
  • Note: M visas are often 10‑year multiple; F visas are often 1‑year multiple (subject to actual issuance).

M 为商贸活动；F 为非盈利交流（会议、学术、文体、参观访问等）。请提供下列材料之一：

M is for commercial trade; F is for non‑profit exchanges (conferences, academic, cultural/sports, visits). Provide one of the following:

  1. 中国有关单位签发的《被授权单位邀请函》或《邀请确认函》；或
  2. 非“被授权单位”的地方政府、公司、企事业单位出具的邀请函。
  3. An authorized “Invitation (Confirmation) Letter” from a qualified Chinese entity; OR
  4. An invitation from local government, company, or institution in China (non‑authorized entity).

非“被授权单位”邀请函需包含：

For invitations by non‑authorized entities, include:

  1. 被邀请人信息：姓名、性别、出生日期、护照号等；
  2. Invitee info: name, sex, DOB, passport No., etc.
  3. 访问信息：来华事由、抵离日期、访问地点、与邀请单位/邀请人关系、费用来源等；
  4. Visit details: purpose, arrival/exit dates, locations, relationship, cost coverage, etc.
  5. 邀请单位信息：单位名称、电话、地址、单位印章、法定代表签字与日期；
  6. Inviting entity info: name, phone, address, company stamp, legal rep signature & date.
  7. 建议使用单位信头纸（含中文地址、电话、邮箱、网址等）。
  8. Use company letterhead with address/phone/email/website if available.
  9. 邀请函须签字并扫描，通过邮件发送；打印时使用彩色。
  10. Invitation must be signed and scanned, sent by email; print in color.

四、亲属关系证明（适用：Q1 / S1 / S2 部分情形）

IV. Proof of Kinship (for Q1 / S1 / S2 in certain cases)

如以与邀请人亲属关系为由申请定居类（Q1 家庭团聚、S1 长期私人访问）或部分 S2 短期访问，需提供直系或近亲属关系证明（配偶、父母、子女、子女配偶、兄弟姐妹、祖/外祖父母、孙/外孙等及配偶父母）。

If applying on the basis of family relationship for settlement‑type visas (Q1, S1) or certain S2 cases, submit proof of relationship (spouse, parents, children, children’s spouses, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, in‑laws, etc.).

  • 常见材料：结婚证、出生证、公安机关出具的亲属关系证明或相关公证书复印件。
  • Common docs: marriage certificate, birth certificate, police‑issued relationship proof, or notarized documents.
  • 若无直接证据，可通过多个文件与第三人证明间接佐证。
  • If no direct doc exists, provide multiple indirect proofs and third‑party attestations.

特别提醒：普通短期探亲（Q2）通常不需要亲属关系证明；非亲属事由的 S1/S2 亦通常不需。

Note: Typical short‑term Q2 visits do not require kinship proof; non‑family S1/S2 reasons also usually don’t.

VII. Frequently Asked Questions

旅馆酒店在拿到签证后可以变更吗？ Can hotels be changed after the visa is issued?

可以。拿到签证后，行程（包括旅馆）通常可以调整。
Yes. It’s usually fine to adjust itinerary and hotels after issuance.

一定要父母作为邀请人吗？ Must the inviter be the parents?

不一定。亲戚、兄弟姐妹等均可作为邀请人。
Not necessarily. Other relatives such as siblings can be inviters.

可以父母两人同时作为邀请人吗？ Can both parents be inviters?

可以，但没必要。若两位邀请人，则两人都需签字并附身份证复印件。
Yes, but not necessary. If both, both must sign and attach ID copies.

邀请人身份证上的地址与现住址不一致会影响吗？ Mismatched ID address vs. current address—problem?

一般不影响。
Generally no.

我能用自己的中国身份证为在美出生的儿童写邀请函吗？ Can I invite my US‑born child using my CN ID?

通常不可以，除极少数特例。
Usually no, except rare cases.

父母在美国探亲，能为我们出具邀请函吗？ Parents currently visiting the US—can they issue an invitation?

可以，但不建议。邀请函需留国内电话，领馆可能抽查核实。
Possible but not advised. A Chinese domestic phone is needed; consulates may verify by phone.

父母能邀请我的美国朋友来中国旅游吗？ Can my parents invite my US friend to China?

原则上该朋友应自备机票与旅馆。这类邀请函有风险，不建议使用。
In principle, your friend should provide their own bookings. Such invitations are sensitive and not recommended.

入籍后绿卡被收回，如何提供绿卡复印件？ Green card surrendered at naturalization—how to provide a copy?
